Kris Diggs is a self-taught visual artist from the DMV area, who has been painting seriously since 2015. He works with a variety of mediums and believes that art should be enjoyed and appreciated, regardless of differing interpretations. Kris sees the beauty of art in its ability to mean different things to different people. He constantly pushes himself to explore new techniques and draw inspiration from various sources, embracing the ever-changing nature of art and the endless opportunities for growth and improvement.

Kris has exhibited his work in various galleries and businesses throughout the DMV, including Hue 2 Gallery, Creative Suitland Art Center, Anacostia Art Center, Milk and Honey, National Harbor, and many more. He often collaborates with his art collective, Artbae, on projects that uplift the community through art education and therapy.

Through his brand, Art by KD, Kris offers canvas paintings, body painting, murals, and paint party instruction for both public and private events.
